You're probably wondering how all of this came to be, and in the spirit of brand transparency, we're going to walk you through our story!

Our store was started in our co-founder's basement all the way over in Hinton, AB. Nicole Charlton, a design student and long time fashion enthusiast, wanted to provide a curated collection of vintage inspired and Canadian made brands to an online audience. She opened Shop Harrow in 2017 and worked from home, sometimes taking her collections to pop ups around the province.

In 2019, Nicole turned to her mother, Natalie, for help. She wanted to take her business to the next step, and after months of brainstorming and planning, they opened their first brick and mortar right here in Edmonton.

Opening the store was a family affair, and Nicole's father and uncle (with many others along the way!) came down to help get the store on its feet. Although the move from Hinton to Edmonton was a difficult one, Nicole thought it would be worth the effort, and she now resides in the city with her partner and cat not too far from the shop! Natalie has stayed in Hinton but comes down almost every weekend to help Nicole take care of business.

After almost a year and a half of being in business, Nicole and Natalie opened their second location in West Edmonton Mall. Now we have two spots to provide you with some of the most unique Canadian, handmade, and European styles you can find in #YEG!

We do our best to stock something for everyone, which means not all of our brands are Canadian made. We try hard to #supportlocal wherever we can afford to while also making sure that we carry a selection of goods that are not only high quality, but as affordable as possible, because we know how daunting boutique shopping can be on a budget!
